Job summary

Flare energy services is seeking an Assistant Video Editor to support the editing process by organizing footage, assisting with editing, and ensuring materials are ready for final production.

You will collaborate with the lead editor, import and manage footage, and help with transitions, audio, color correction and VFX under guidance. A detail-oriented, team-minded creator with a portfolio is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with video editing software and basic production workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Portfolio of editing work preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with lead editor.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with lead editor to understand project goals and timelines.
• Import, organize, and manage video footage and assets in editing software.
• Assist in editing, including trimming clips, transitions, and audio integration.
• Help with color correction, sound design, and visual effects under guidance.
• Maintain organized file structure for project access.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas.
• Stay updated on industry trends and software advancements.
