Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one-year experience in coaching.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to relate effectively with students, coaches, staff, physicians, parents, teachers and administrators.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple assignments and priorities.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends on a frequent basis.
• Physical activity such as walking, standing, running, bending, crouching, lifting, carrying, etc.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of sport including CIF/NFHS rules, skills, tactics and techniques.
• Organizes and supervises well-planned practices and games; prepares team for competition.
• Conducts self professionally; motivates and inspires student-athletes and communicates with stakeholders.
• Promotes sportsmanship and team concepts; addresses players as part of a team.
• Assists athletes to reach their full potential and provides an enjoyable environment.
• Handles administrative responsibilities such as grade checks, records, timesheets, and equipment planning and budgeting.
