Job summary

Endeavor Schools’ Parker Landing CDC is seeking an Assistant Two’s Teacher to support the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum and supervise children in a safe, nurturing setting.

You will help prepare learning materials, engage children in development activities, and collaborate with educators to foster a positive classroom culture. prior experience welcome; strong teamwork and communication needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• PD Units/Credits are a plus.
• Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified center preferred.
• Experience with the assigned age group is beneficial.
• Knowledge of minimum state standards/accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation of age-appropriate curriculum.
• Prepare and organize learning materials for daily activities.
• Supervise children during meals, naps and activities to ensure safety.

Starting pay: Hourly $18.00 to $20.00, Depending on Education and Experience.

Whether or not you have experience working in schools, you may be qualified to work with us.The most important quality is that you love working with children. Some of our best educators have come from other fields, including customer service, healthcare, retail, and more!

If you have the following, we would love to speak with you:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Professional Development Units / Credits, preferred.
• Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center (minimum 6 months).
• Prior experience with the assigned age group.
• Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation.
• Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and smartphone.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills are required.
• Patience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners are essential to this position.
