Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking an Assistant Track and Field Coach for the 2026-2027 SY in Bluffton, South Carolina. The selected candidate will prepare student athletes for competition and help enhance their skills and self-esteem through sports.

The ideal candidate will have previous coaching experience, knowledge of the sport, and the ability to enforce athletic policies. This is a part-time temporary position with a focus on the academic alignment of athletics.

Qualifications

• Previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport.
• Knowledge and/or background in the assigned sport.
• Must be able to pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare student athletes for competition in sports activities.
• Carry out the aims and objectives of the sports program.
• Instruct athletes in individual and team fundamentals.

Skills

Coaching experience in assigned sport

Knowledge of South Carolina High School League rules

Interpersonal skills

Education

Teaching certificate preferred
