Job summary

The Gardner School Naperville North is hiring an Assistant toddler & preschool teacher to support the lead teacher with age-appropriate curriculum and daily routines.

You will help create a nurturing classroom environment, foster emotional and social development, and collaborate with a caring team to ensure safety, hygiene, and engaging learning experiences for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• 1+ years of experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Regular and reliable attendance; ability to lift up to ~60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom; support daily routines, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
• Collaborate with teaching team members and school leaders to ensure consistency and support across classrooms.
• Uphold a professional, team-oriented mindset at all times.
