Job summary

Aurora University is seeking an Assistant Track & Field Throws Coach to lead the men's and women's throws program. You will recruit, coach, and oversee day-to-day operations, including budgeting, scheduling, and travel arrangements, under the supervision of the head coach.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of four or more years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for recruiting and coaching student-athletes in the throws events.
• Schedule varsity and junior varsity contests and coordinate travel as needed.
• Develop and manage the program operating budget.
• Ensure compliance with NCAA and conference rules; report violations.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate practice sessions; develop game plans.
