Responsibilities

• Perform work on the work order form per the manufacturer’s maintenance manual.
• Notify Operations Manager of any out of the ordinary damage observed during maintenance.
• Develop test fixtures and procedures for new electronic assemblies.
• Order correct parts as noted in the illustrated parts listing.
• Document all maintenance forms per procedures and forms catalogs.
• Test and troubleshoot warranty and non-warranty repairs; assist fault analysis.
• Maintain tools and work area in a clean, orderly fashion.
• Verify calibration status on precision tools and test equipment; report out of calibration.
• Document time spent on jobs on route sheets and time cards.
• Adhere to company procedures and policies; perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

ROLE: Assists Technicians with all aspects of developing and maintaining electronic systems and subassemblies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Perform the work requested on the work order form in accordance with the manufacturer’s maintenance manual
• Notify the Operations Manager of any out of the ordinary damage noted during any phase of the maintenance process
• Develops and assists in the development of test fixtures and test procedures for new electronic assemblies.
• Order correct parts as noted in the illustrated parts listing of the appropriate manual
• Correctly documenting all maintenance forms in accordance with the procedures set forth in this Manual as well as the individual instructions for each form found in the Forms Catalog
• Tests and troubleshoots warranty and non-warranty repairs as required and assists in fault analysis, corrective action, and customer report documentation.
• Maintain their respective tools and work area in a clean, orderly fashion
• Verifying calibration status on all precision tools and test equipment prior to use, and when finding a tool out of calibration notifying the Operations Manager
• Documents time spent on individual jobs on route sheets and time cards.
• Adheres to company procedures and policies regarding personnel and quality issues.
• Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION

• Associates degree in electronics or equivalent from a two year college or technical school

EXPERIENCE

• 1-3 years’ experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR ABILITIES

• Language/Communication Skills : Must be fluent and able to read and write English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as emails, report and correspondence. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Excellent communication skills.
• Computer Skills : Moderate computer knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Math Skills : Ability to use mathematics to solve problems.
• Reasoning Skills : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to problem solve and provide solutions.
• Organizational Skills : Strong organizational skills, strict attention to details and ability to multitask and prioritize as necessary, with minimal supervisory direction. Must be flexible in handling multiple tasks.
• Interpersonal Skills : Must work well with others.
• Strong Work Ethic : Willingness to work hard and long hours, when needed. Must be available to work overtime and some Saturdays, as needed

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, will be required to sit, use hands to finger, talk or hear and required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to lift and/move up to 75 lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance version, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and ability to adjust focus.
