Qualifications

Role Description

This is a full-time Assistant Technical Designer role at ByDesign LLC located in New York, NY. The Assistant Technical Designer will collaborate with the design, product development, and production teams to assist in creating and developing technical packages and specifications for new products. The Assistant Technical Designer will also assist in fittings and will be responsible for ensuring that all garments are in compliance with quality standards and production timelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in fashion design, technical design, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Excel, and PLM software
• Experience with garment fittings, construction techniques, and pattern-making
• Knowledge of garment production process, including costing, sourcing, and timelines Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
• Experience working with a diverse team and adapting to new technologies and systems
