Child Development Schools Georgia in Chatsworth, GA is seeking an Assistant Teacher for Toddlers and School Age children with a 2-6 pm schedule. You will support the Lead Teacher by delivering engaging activities, helping with classroom management, and building a warm, safe learning environment.

You'll partner with families, observe and document progress, and participate in ongoing training. Compensation is $13-$15 per hour with benefits including health, retirement, holidays, PTO, and tuition

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Assistant Teacher (2-6 pm schedule) - Chatsworth, Georgia

Your role

As an Assistant Teacher at Child Development Schools, you will help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. Working alongside your Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands-on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

You will serve as a trusted partner to families, a positive role model for children, and an important part of our collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.

What your day looks like:

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom

Pay and benefits

Pay: 13-15 per hour, based on experience and education.
