Job summary

Joyoflearningcenter in South Carolina is hiring a Full-Time Assistant Teacher for the Twos age group. You will support lead teachers, plan and deliver age-appropriate activities, and help create a safe, welcoming classroom that fosters growth.

Starting pay is $15.00–$16.00 per hour based on education and experience. Ideal candidates are passionate about early childhood education and willing to grow with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• High School diploma or GED
• A genuine passion for early childhood education
• Previous childcare experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities
• Create a welcoming classroom where children feel safe, respected, and inspired
• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Help with routines such as meals, naps, and transitions while encouraging positive behavior
• Observe and document children’s growth and learning progress

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support school goals
