Job summary

Child Development Schools, Inc. seeks an Assistant Teacher in Swansboro, North Carolina to support the Lead Teacher and nurture curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth in young learners.

You will help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, and joy, while modeling warmth and safety for children and families. You will engage in hands-on activities, help with lessons, maintain a clean, safe space, and document attendance and daily notes.

As an Assistant Teacher at Child Development Schools, you will help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. Working alongside your Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands-on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

You will serve as a trusted partner to families, a positive role model for children, and an important part of our collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom

Pay And Benefits

Pay: 13-15 per hour, based on experience and education
