Job summary

The Gardner School of Naperville is hiring an Assistant Infant & Preschool Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in delivering developmentally appropriate activities in a state-of-the-art preschool environment.

You will help implement curricula, maintain a safe and organized classroom, and build strong relationships with families while adhering to our core values of Children First, Trust, and Make a Difference.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; CPR/First Aid cert preferred or willingness to obtain.
• 1+ year experience with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum.
• Provide nurturing guidance for emotional and behavioral development.
• Maintain a clean, safe classroom and support daily routines.
• Collaborate with team members and school leaders for consistency.
