Job summary

Country Manor’s Kids Crest Childcare & Learning Center in Brainerd is seeking a caring Assistant Teacher Float to support Infant and Toddler Rooms. You will create a safe, nurturing space, plan age-appropriate activities, and collaborate with lead teachers to help children grow.

You’ll engage families across the Pinecrest campus, participate in intergenerational activities, and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a childcare center.
• At least one year of full-time college credits in Education or a related field.
• Assistant Teacher Qualified by Rule 3 in Minnesota.
• Outgoing personality and a passion for teaching.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Infant and Toddler classrooms.
• Help students prepare for success in the future.
• Encourage growth and learning through activities, events, and outings.
• Work alongside talented teachers in a supportive environment.

Kids Crest Childcare & Learning Center is looking for a caring, enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to float between our Infant and Toddler Rooms at our brand-new childcare center at Pinecrest of Country Manor in Brainerd. If you love helping children learn, explore, and thrive, we’d love to meet you!

As part of the Pinecrest campus, Kids Crest offers something especially meaningful: opportunities for children and seniors to build relationships through intergenerational activities and special visits. Teachers can also take their classrooms throughout the campus for a change of scenery and participate in community events and creative learning experiences.

As an Assistant Teacher Float, you will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where every child feels valued. You’ll develop age-appropriate lesson plans, guide classroom activities, collaborate with lead teachers, and help children build the skills and confidence they need for future success.

Your Responsibilities:

• Classroom Assistance: Assist in the Infant and Toddler classrooms.
  
• Student Preparation: Help students prepare for success in the future.
  
• Guided Activities: Encourage growth and learning through activities, events, and outings.
  
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside talented teachers in a supportive environment.
  
• Homework Help: Provide assistance to students with their studies.
  
• Creative Engagement: Lead gym activities, science experiments, special interest groups, arts and crafts.
