Job summary

Learning Care Group in Shelton, CT is hiring Assistant Teachers to support daily care for children within a center setting. You will follow licensing guidelines and company standards to maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized, while engaging with families and supporting children’s development.

We offer extensive training on childcare topics and pathways for growth through our Master Teacher Program.

Qualifications

• Meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable individuals with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop ability to observe, assess, and plan for children, and effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.
