Learning Care Group is seeking Assistant Teachers to join our New York area child care centers. You will help care for children and families within a supportive team that values growth, with immediate access to benefits and a pathway through ongoing training.

Follow licensing guidelines, develop observation and planning for children, and communicate with families. This role offers a Monday–Friday work week and extensive education assistance with health coverage for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Complete extensive training on childcare and development topics.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers and contribute to a safe, engaging classroom.
• Observe, assess and plan for children’s development.
• Communicate effectively with families and document progress.
