The Goddard School is seeking a motivated Assistant Teacher in Iselin, NJ. You will support the Lead Teacher in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a safe, stimulating classroom environment. Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous experience with young children in licensed childcare or preschool setting.
• Shows empathy and compassion for young children.
• Works productively without supervision.
• Basic understanding of child development.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass state background checks and meet licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support daily care routines and tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment
