Job summary

The Goddard School of Royersford in Royersford, PA is seeking an Assistant Teacher passionate about early childhood education. You will support lead teachers, implement lessons, and foster a nurturing classroom for young learners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; experience with children preferred but not required.
• Must meet Pennsylvania state licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
• Assist with implementing classroom activities and learning experiences using Wonder of Learning curriculum.
• Build meaningful relationships with children and support their social, emotional, and developmental growth.
• Help maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety.
• Support children's daily routines including meals, diapering/toileting, transitions, and play-based learning.
• Communicate positively and professionally with children, families, and team members.
• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to provide the best possible experience for every child.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
