Child Development Schools in Raleigh, North Carolina, is looking for an Assistant Teacher to support a caring, creative classroom environment. You will work with the Lead Teacher to deliver age-appropriate activities, observe children, and help with daily routines, meals, transitions, and outdoor time.

You will communicate with families, participate in documentation, and contribute to a warm, safe setting that fosters curiosity and growth.

• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports

Assistant Teacher -- Raleigh, North Carolina

Your role

As an Assistant Teacher at Child Development Schools, you will help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. Working alongside your Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands-on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

You will serve as a trusted partner to families, a positive role model for children, and an important part of our collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom

Pay And Benefits

Pay: 13-15 per hour, based on experience and education.
