Job summary

The Goddard School of Middletown is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support early childhood classrooms and assist lead teachers with daily activities. You will help create a nurturing, engaging environment that fosters growth in young learners.

You will engage children in developmentally appropriate activities, communicate with families, and collaborate with staff to ensure safe, orderly, and inclusive classroom routines.

Qualifications

• Experience with children in a classroom setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Passion for early childhood education and child development.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
• Must pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements.
• Positive attitude and a nurturing demeanor towards children.
