The Goddard School of Maplewood, NJ is seeking a motivated Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in delivering engaging early childhood programs. You will help manage the classroom and ensure a safe, stimulating environment for young learners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Shows empathy and compassion for young children
• Ability to work without supervision
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass state background checks and meet licensing requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher with age-appropriate lesson plans
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development
• Prepare classroom materials and maintain a safe, clean learning environment
