Job summary

The Goddard School in Lockport, IL is seeking passionate preschool assistants to join our team. We welcome both part-time and full-time applicants who enjoy working with children and fostering a safe, nurturing learning environment.

You will collaborate with the lead teacher and faculty to support children's social and emotional development, establish positive family relations, and participate in training and development offered by the school.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Shows empathy and compassion for young children.
• Is dependable and adaptable and enjoys working together toward a common goal.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.
