Job summary

The-Children in Jacksonville, FL is seeking energetic, dependable individuals to join our child care team as part-time teachers. You will inspire children to become lifelong learners by engaging in play, observation, and purposeful planning.

As a teacher, you will follow state licensing guidelines, maintain a clean, interactive classroom, and collaborate with families to support each child's development. Training on childcare topics is provided.

Qualifications

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Develop observation, assessment and planning skills for children, and effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.
• Meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.

Responsibilities
