La Petite Academy in Jacksonville, FL is hiring Assistant Teachers to join our caring team. You will create a fun, organized classroom and follow licensing guidelines to support children's daily care.

Qualifications

• Patience with children and families
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Ability to follow licensing guidelines and procedures
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and education for children in a classroom setting
• Observe, assess, and plan developmentally appropriate activities
• Effectively communicate with families about their child’s progress and needs
• Complete training on childcare topics and participate in our Master Teacher Program when eligible

Assistant Teachers:

• Love to help! Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child. Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Love to engage! Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Love to learn! Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.
