Job summary

The Goddard School in Huntingdon Valley, PA is seeking a caring and energetic teacher to join our preschool team. You will plan, present, and evaluate engaging activities that support children’s growth and curiosity, while maintaining a safe and joyful classroom environment.

You’ll collaborate with fellow teachers and communicate regularly with families to share progress, celebrate successes, and address needs, helping every child develop into a confident learner ready for school and life.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of previous experience with children preferred.
• Develops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members.
• Ability to calmly address stressful situations while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
• Meets background check eligibility.

• Assistant teachers will help plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment.
