Job summary

New Horizon Academy Des Moines, IA is seeking an Assistant Teacher to join our team. The role supports early childhood education, assisting lead teachers, and helping children learn in a caring, structured environment.

Applicants should be able to work a flexible schedule Monday–Friday, between 6:30am and 6:00pm. Previous childcare experience is appreciated but not required, with comprehensive training provided.

We are seeking Assistant Teachers to join our team at New Horizon Academy Des Moines, IA! *

Hourly wage range: $14.40-$15.75 DOE

*must be available to work any shift between 6:30am and 6:00pm*
