The district emphasizes athletic and academic excellence, and candidates should have coaching or playing experience and be prepared to complete the Maine CHRC process and background checks as part of a thorough screening.

Qualifications

• Prior successful coaching and/or playing experience is preferred.
• State of Maine DOE CHRC Approval is required.

• Note: The Yarmouth School Department will conduct Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coach with swim practices and meet preparation.
• Support and supervise student-athletes to ensure safety and sportsmanship.
• Contribute to program planning and team development.
