POSITION: ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR OF CHILD NUTRITION PROGRAM
LOCATION: Board of Education, Child Nutrition Program
POSITION SUMMARY: Underdirection from the Supervisor of Child Nutrition, maintains a leadership role in the provision of a food service program that meets all operational standards consistent with federal, state, and local regulations. Assists with ensuring execution of the strategic plan and operational efficiency of the division by developing efficient processes and trainings, targets, and in-process measures to assess results. Conducting standardized training on a variety of topics including Child Nutrition Programs, execution, policies and procedures, accountability measures, CN-specific computer skills, ordering, and inventory skills. Assists with effectively leading the division in the district's commitment to equity and excellence for all staff and students. Assists with ensuring the provision of high quality and nutritious meals in a cost-effective and efficient operation through training methods and documentation; administering Child Nutrition Programs; providing training and oversight to the central production facility and warehouse/distribution operations. Assists with establishing food and equipment specifications and developing systems for the preparation and delivery of services. Assists with determining allocation of resources to provide safe, sanitary, and cost-effective meal programs that are self-supporting within an enterprise fund and acceptable to customers. Assists with leading the implementation of new and updated technology systems to increase the efficiency of the department. Has a thorough understanding of Child Nutrition Program requirements and regulations including NSLP, SBP, CACFP, and SFSP.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 month position and salary commensurate with the Meet and Confer salary scale 2 for administrative and supervisory employees. All employees are encouraged to have automatic payroll deposit.

References must be directly related to educational experience and must include immediate supervisor.
