Job summary

Allen Harim Foods seeks a skilled supervisor to direct and assign staff to ensure quality poultry products. You will oversee daily operations, uphold GMP, HACCP, SSOP, and USDA standards, and collaborate with management.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma with at least four years in poultry, strong MS Office skills, and excellent problem solving, attention to detail, and communication. Training of associates and Saturday work are expected.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma with at least four years of poultry experience.
  • Knowledge of Poultry Plant or Food production.
  • PC skills required (MS Office).
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • High degree of attention to detail.
  • Excellent Communications skills as frequent communication is required with management and staff.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a manner that is consistent with the essential job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and assign employees to ensure quality product.
  • Ensure department compliance with GMP, HACCP, SSOP, and USDA standards.
  • Assist in training of all associates.
  • Set daily objectives and communicate them to the team.
  • Maintain department paperwork and records.
  • Supervise cleanup during breaks and between shifts to meet USDA and state requirements.
  • Act as Supervisor when needed; Saturdays expected.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job description

Will support the Vision, Mission, and Values of the Organization. The qualified candidate must be able to direct and assign employees as needed to ensure all aspects of quality product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports Allen Harim’s mission, vision and values
  • Be able to communicate with other associates at all levels, have a good attendance record,
  • Reporting team member performance records to the Management team
  • Ensuring the department is in compliance with GMP, HACCP, SSOP, and USDA standards
  • Must assist in the training of all associates
  • Ensure team members properly wear PPE, and that they understand safety procedures.
  • Set daily objectives and communicate them to their team.
  • Will be responsible for paperwork relating to the department
  • Supervise cleanup work performed during breaks such as lunch, and in between shifts to meet USDA and state requirements
  • Must be able to act as Supervisor when needed
  • Saturdays to be expected
  • All other related duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma with at least four years of poultry experience
