Job summary

Jobot is a specialized General Contractor seeking a Superintendent - MEP in Fort Worth, TX. You will lead MEP on complex infrastructure projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and safety compliance across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

We require at least 5 years in MEP, a relevant engineering degree, and strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate teams, manage subcontractors, and drive project success across a high-profile portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in the construction industry, focusing on MEP.
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing MEP on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all MEP aspects of our construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate and supervise MEP subcontractors, ensuring work aligns with plans.
• Review and approve MEP designs and plans, ensuring proper on-site implementation.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other professionals.
• Monitor progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion.
• Ensure all MEP work complies with safety and quality standards.
• Provide technical advice and resolve any emerging MEP issues.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems and equipment.
• Manage the procurement of materials and equipment for MEP systems.
• Prepare and present reports on MEP progress to senior management.

Job Details

We are seeking a Superintendent - MEP to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems on our projects. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and project management capabilities. The Superintendent - MEP will ensure that all work is completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and quality standards. We are happy to look at Superintendents or Foremans ready to step into a Superintendent role.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee and manage all MEP aspects of our construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Coordinate and supervise the work of all MEP subcontractors, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the project plans and specifications.
3. Review and approve MEP designs and plans, and ensure they are implemented correctly on-site.
4. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure the smooth progress of the project.
5. Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
6. Ensure all MEP work complies with all relevant safety and quality standards.
7. Provide technical advice and resolve any emerging issues related to MEP systems.
8. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems and equipment.
9. Manage the procurement of materials and equipment for MEP systems.
10. Prepare and present reports on the progress of the MEP aspects of the project to senior management.
