Job summary

Evergreen Country Club in Haymarket, Virginia is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Superintendent to join our private club team. You will work closely with the Superintendent and grounds staff on course setup, chemical applications, daily maintenance, and irrigation tasks.

Minimum two years of golf course experience is required; one year as an Assistant is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Qualifications

• One year as Assistant preferred, training possible.
• Turf certificate or AS/BS in turfgrass management or related field preferred.
• Willing to obtain Applicators pesticide license within 90 days.

Assistant Superintendent Evergreen Country Club

We are looking for a highly motivated and polished individual. Applicant must have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, keen eye for detail, willingness to learn and desire to advance in the golf industry. Must possess strong communication skills and be able to work within a team oriented environment alongside the Superintendent and grounds staff. Duties include but are not limited to: chemical and fertilizer applications, daily course setup, hand watering, irrigation repair, crew supervision, and record keeping.

Minimum of two years golf course experience required. One year of experience as an Assistant is preferred, however we are willing to train the right candidate upon graduation.

Turf certificate, A.S. or B.S. in turfgrass management or related field is preferred.

Must be willing and able to get Applicators pesticide license within 90 days.
