Job summary

Aviso, LLC in Fremont, CA is seeking a Lead Superintendent to coordinate daily field operations, schedule trade partners, and remove roadblocks on multifamily projects. You will walk the site to ensure quality and compliance, lead morning safety huddles, and manage logistics including materials and equipment coordination.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial or multifamily construction experience.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset for anticipating next steps.
• Strong communication to coordinate with subs, inspectors, and PMs.
• OSHA 30 certification and commitment to site safety.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily field operations with Lead Superintendent and trade partners.

What You Will Do Every Day

• Partner directly with the Lead Superintendent to coordinate daily field operations, schedule trade partners, and eliminate roadblocks.
• Walk the site relentlessly to ensure quality control, verify that work matches our standards, and catch potential issues early.
• Lead morning safety huddles and enforce strict site safety protocols to ensure everyone goes home safe.
• Manage site logistics, including material deliveries, staging areas, and equipment coordination.
• Keep our project management team in the loop by maintaining accurate daily logs, taking progress photos, and tracking schedule milestones.

What You Bring to the Team

• 3+ years of commercial or multifamily construction experience, with at least 1 year in an assistant or supervisory role.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset—you always anticipate the next step in the build and prepare the site for it.
• Strong communication skills to build respect and foster collaboration with subcontractors, inspectors, and project managers.
• OSHA 30 certification and a deep, uncompromising commitment to job site safety.
• Comfort with construction management technology (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid) and the ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings.
