Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in coordinating all construction activities on assigned projects
• Support the supervision of crews and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality work
• Monitor daily site operations and maintain project documentation, including logs, reports, and safety records
• Help enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies, fostering a culture of safety on‑site
• Track project progress, assist with scheduling updates, and communicate field conditions to the project team
• Support client, inspector, and building official interactions to ensure smooth communication and compliance
• Assist with implementing cost‑effective strategies and problem‑solving field challenges
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment needs, and site logistics
• Collaborate with Project Management and Estimating teams to align field operations with project plans

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 2+ years of experience in commercial construction field operations (internship or co‑op experience considered)
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Building Construction/Science, or related field (preferred)
• Highly organized and detail‑oriented with a proactive, “hands‑on” approach to problem solving
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with construction management softwareExperience using smartphones and tablets in conjunction with field management software
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and trade practices
• Eager to learn, grow, and develop into a future Superintendent role
