Job summary

BOND Brothers, Inc. is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead complex construction efforts in the United States. You will oversee safety, scheduling, subcontractors, and field operations to deliver quality projects on time and within budget.

The role requires strong leadership, mentoring, and practical knowledge of site work, utilities, and campus infrastructure, with a focus on risk mitigation and QA/QC adherence. OSHA training and safety accountability are essential.

Qualifications

  • BS or BA in engineering or related discipline; field experience may substitute for degree.
  • Strong knowledge of owner contracts, drawings and specs; risk mitigation.
  • Familiarity with scheduling processes and ability to plan project schedules.
  • Experience with site work, underground utilities and campus infrastructure.
  • OSHA 1926 knowledge and related safety program; OSHA 30-hour training.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a quality project safely, on time, within budget and with positive relationships.
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors while building long lasting relationships.
  • Maintain care and custody of the project site prioritizing safety.
  • Assist with pre-job planning, strategizing and conceptual scheduling.
  • Mentor field personnel reflecting company values.
  • Monitor safety plans and ensure implementation of health and safety protocols.
  • Understand scheduling processes and actively status field progress.
  • Track construction documents, punch lists and changes.
  • Promote a team atmosphere and QA/QC program implementation.
  • Coach/mentor field supervisory staff; lead by example.

  • Manage subcontractors and vendors in a coordinated manner while developing long lasting relationships for the Company
  • Maintain care and custody of the project site to assure safety is of the utmost priority
  • Provide assistance with pre-job planning, strategizing and conceptual scheduling
  • Provide training and mentorship to field personnel reflecting BOND’s values
  • Perform as Safety Monitor; ensure that all health and safety project plans are implemented
  • Fully understand the scheduling process and related software; able to actively status the field progress and update schedule
  • Track/record construction documents, punch lists and changes
  • Promote a team atmosphere
  • Assist in implementing BOND’s QA/QC program on projects
WHAT YOU BRING:
  • BS or BA in engineering or related discipline.(A proven record of accomplishment of Construction and/or Management experience in the field may be substituted for degree.)
  • Knowledge of the Owner contracts, drawings and specifications, subcontract agreements, insurance risks. Focuses on mitigating risk for the Company.
  • Knowledge of the Scheduling process
    • Able to provide a project plan for use in the development of the overall project schedule.
  • Knowledge of self-performance activities including site work, concrete, underground utilities particular to gas and electric transmission, substations, and campus infrastructure
    • Understanding of the manpower requirements related to these activities.
  • Thorough knowledge of OSHA 1926 and related Corporate Safety Program
  • Thorough knowledge of confined space, hazmat, asbestos, lead paint and other hazard policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of equipment safety
    • assures that all required inspections of equipment onsite are completed
  • Ability to provide coaching/mentoring/leadership to field supervisory staff
  • Successfully completed OSHA 30-hour safety training
  • Proficiency with computer programs necessary

This position is paying between $112k and $169k plus vehicle allowance, healthcare, dental, vision, 401k plus match and annual bonus.
