Job summary

Moss, a national construction firm, seeks an Assistant Superintendent in Oklahoma City to plan, schedule, and direct the construction of large-scale multi-family projects. You will work with the project team to manage subcontractors, safety, and quality control under the supervision of the Superintendent.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in construction management or engineering, plus 1–5 years in multi-family projects and demonstrated leadership能力.

  • Bachelor’s in construction management, engineering, or related discipline or relevant experience. A specialty in trades such as MEP or concrete can be helpful.
  • 1 – 5 years’ experience on multi-family residential construction projects.

  • Assist Superintendent in communicating expectations to subcontractors and employees regarding schedules, safety, quality control and other standards.
  • Coordinate city inspections and ensure compliance with permits and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Superintendent to secure project site and company assets.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by implementing safety and quality control programs.

Education

POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

Moss’ AssistantSuperintendents work in concert with the project team to plan, schedule, organize and direct the construction of large-scale multi-family residential projects.



Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities


  • Assists the Superintendent in communicating with subcontractors and employees a consistent level of expectations and direction regarding schedules, coordinate city inspections, construction methods, company policies and procedures, permits, safety, quality control and other performance standards

  • Collaborates with Superintendent to ensure project site and company assets are secure

  • Maintains a safe working environment at all times by implementing safety and quality control programs

  • Perform other related duties as assigned



Education And Work Experience


  • Bachelor’s in construction management, engineering, or related discipline or relevant experience. A specialty in trades such as MEP or concrete can be helpful.

  • 1 – 5 years’ experience on multi-family residential construction projects

  • Exceptional ability to lead and manage others

  • Initiative and problem-solving skills are a necessity
