Job summary

Balfour Beatty is seeking an Assistant Superintendent on an on-site project in Florida. You’ll drive project success from preconstruction through close-out, working with experienced teams, sharpening your technical, financial, and leadership skills while upholding a Safety/Zero Harm culture and ensuring clear project documentation and communication.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in commercial construction, ideally in a field or project engineer capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a proactive mindset.
• Familiarity with construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and document management.

The Role

Joining Balfour Beatty as an Assistant Superintendent, you’ll be on-site helping to drive the success of high-profile, large-scale projects from the ground up — from preconstruction through close-out. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with experienced professionals, gaining exposure to complex buildings while sharpening your technical, financial, and leadership skills all whilst driving our Safety/Zero Harm culture and ensuring that critical project documentation and communication flow is maintained.

You will have a significant runway for continued development, learning and career growth as well as exposure to a wide range of complex high-value marquee projects.
