Position: Assistant Stunt Coach

Reports to: Athletics Director

FLMA: Non-exempt

Job Status: Seasonal

Season Dates: September 2026 through May 2027

Adventure Christian School is seeking a committed and energetic Assistant Coach for the ACS Stunt Team. This individual will support the Head Coach in developing student-athletes both athletically and spiritually, while helping build a competitive, disciplined, and Christ-centered program.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting practices, workouts, and competitions
• Teach and develop stunt‑specific skills including partner stunts, pyramids, jumps, and routines
• Help implement strength, conditioning, and injury‑prevention training
• Provide individual and team instruction focused on skill progression and safety
• Assist with game‑day/competition preparation, setup, and execution
• Promote teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and a positive team culture
• Support supervision of student‑athletes during practices, competitions, and team events
• Assist with film review, scouting, and performance evaluation (if applicable)
• Help communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school administration
• Ensure compliance with all school, league, and CIF guidelines
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Athletics

• Ability to work collaboratively under the direction of the Head Coach
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Must pass all required background checks and clearances

Physical Requirements

• Position requires moderate physical exertion associated with the ability to lift, carry, push, pull or climb.
• Position requires physical capability for sustained physical work, requires strength and endurance associated with moderate physical effort.
• Position requires moderate physical effort while performing continuous moderate lifting.
• Lifting 50 lbs. maximum or carrying an object up to 25 lbs.

TIme Commitment

• Seasonal position (Spring Season)
• Availability for practices (after school/evenings), competitions, and occasional weekends
• Off‑season involvement as directed by Head Coach
