Job summary

Signet Jewelers’ Zales stores are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily operations and drive sales. You will support the Store Manager in achieving standards, mentoring associates, and delivering a superior customer experience.

You will train team members on product knowledge, manage scheduling, and participate in recruiting to build a strong team. This role requires flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience is required.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily standards to meet sales and profit projections.

Our Assistant Store Managers assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on individual and team members' standards achievement to attain sales and profit projections; contributing to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction; developing skills and product knowledge of team members through training and evaluation; and recruiting and selection of team members.
