Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the GM with day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to policies. The ASM helps supervise hourly staff, manage cash handling and inventory, and promote guest service.

The role requires 1-2 years supervising experience, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours. Pay range is $19.96–$23.17 per hour, with benefits including health, retirement plan, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures, outside or in cooler.
• Lift up to 25 lbs during a shift and move freely around store areas.
• Access to all store areas including selling floor, stock, and register.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Vocational or Technical Education High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Engage in promotional initiatives and guest service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by GM/ Territory Manager.

TheAssistant Store Manager(ASM) is responsible for assisting the general manager with the management of day-to-day operations of the store, while adhering to Global Partner's policies and procedures. Job Description

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt (hourly) employees, holding them accountable for upholding operational standards.
• Monitors shift cash handling and inventory.
• Assists in investigations of shortages/overages of $100 per month or less as well as inventory variations of .5% of sales or less.
• Maintains business records, review cashier accountability sheets and records prescribed by the General Manager and or Territory Manager.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and/or other administrative dutiesas requested, adhering to all Global Partner's cash control policies.
• Manage cash management procedures including bank deposits and change orders.
• MaintainGrand Opening Ready Standards –According to Global Partner's store image standards.
• Maintains highlevels of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensures store is secure and safe; complieswith all safety and environmental guidelines.
• Report any issues to proper authority as well as management.
• Ensure adequate gasoline levels as well as coordinate gasoline deliveries.
• Engage in allcompany promotional initiatives.
• Promotes a high level ofguestservice.
• Perform duties as required by company policies and procedures (encompasses CompanyHandbook)and any other duties assigned by your General Manager/ Territory Manager.

• Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends and or holidays.

• Ability to work unsupervised.

• Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb later/stairs and lift up to 25lbs.during a shift.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Vocational or Technical Education High School Diploma or equivalent.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $19.96 - $23.17 The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
