Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the General Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring policy adherence and strong guest service. The role involves supervising hourly staff, managing cash handling, inventory, and administrative duties, with emphasis on safety and store standards.

Compensation includes a pay range of $20.09-$23.09 per hour, with benefits such as health and wellness plans, 401(k) matching, and tuition reimbursement after 6 months of service.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Ability to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outdoors, cooler, etc.).
• Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Access to all store areas (sales floor, stock area, register).
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Vocational or Technical Education High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt employees, holding them accountable for upholding operational standards.
• Monitors shift cash handling and inventory; investigate shortages/overages of $100 per month or less and inventory variances of .5% of sales or less.
• Maintains business records, review cashier accountability sheets and records prescribed by management.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative duties as requested, adhering to cash control policies.
• Manage cash management procedures including bank deposits and change orders.
• Maintain Grand Opening Ready Standards per store image standards.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure store is secure and safe; comply with safety and environmental guidelines.
• Ensure adequate gasoline levels and coordinate deliveries.
• Engage in all company promotional initiatives and guest service.
• Perform duties as required by company policies and procedures.

Pay Range

The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
