Job summary

Spencer's in Lithonia is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations and drive guest satisfaction. You will help manage staff, maintain high standards in merchandising and inventory control, and assist the Store Manager to maximize sales and profitability.

The role requires prior retail or management experience, the ability to stand for long periods, and to lift up to 50 pounds. 18+ years old and performance-based benefits apply.

Compensation

Hourly rate ranges from $14.75 to $15.00 and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining Guest Services. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage as well as all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with all Company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Minimum age requirement for an Assistant Store Manager is 18.

The physical demands require in excess of 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Prior retail and/or management experience is required.
