Qualifications

• 2 years management/supervisory experience within service or food industry or equivalent.
• Open availability and 40 hours per week; ability to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States; minimum age 18+; able to perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in achieving financial and operational goals by driving sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Use reporting tools with Store Manager to track progress and identify opportunities to improve performance.
• Foster a positive team culture through coaching, communication and sound judgment to support retention.
• Provide training and regular coaching to develop employee knowledge and skills; address performance issues.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring and staffing to maintain coverage.
• Support daily coffeebar operations, including inventory, cash handling, cleanliness, and safety compliance.

They drive self-development through partnership with the Store Manager and District Leader and demonstrate ability to incorporate feedback into performance.**Minimum Qualifications:*** 2 years management/supervisory experience within the service, food industry or equivalent related experience and training in related industry.* Assistant Store Managers are required to maintain open availability and follow management scheduling guidelines working 40 hours per week.* Ability to work a variety of hours/schedules to support business needs, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.* Must be able to comply with Peet's Employment of Minors policies, supervise and work with and among minors.* Must be legally eligible to work in the country where this job is located.* Must be at least 18 years of age or older.* Perform various physical tasks during the work shift.
