Job summary

Dollar Tree in Lake Geneva, WI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help with opening/closing tasks, merchandising, ordering, and loss prevention to maintain a well-run store.

Responsibilities include supervising and training store associates, ensuring a safe, friendly shopping environment, handling payroll and scheduling records, and upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Process corporate directives related to store activities
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits and receipts, and loss prevention
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment
• Maintain cleanliness of the store and restrooms
• Other duties as assigned
