Job summary

SmartStop Self Storage is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (Store #1142 - Richards Place Self Storage - Sparks, NV) for a part-time role with no nights. The position involves leasing, transactions, supervising a small team, and maintaining the property, with occasional additional shifts and a full-time training week.

Starting pay is $19.00/hour plus a monthly bonus incentive. Hours are Mon-Sat 9:00am-6:00pm, mainly Fridays and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail for leasing, banking, and maintenance tasks.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental agreements and process transactions.
• Maintain unit cleanliness and property upkeep.
• Promote and upsell storage solutions to customers.
• Supervise on-site tasks and assist with maintenance and projects.
• Ensure tenants have good relations and a smooth experience.

Assistant Store Manager (Store #1142 - Richards Place Self Storage - Sparks, NV) Job Summary - NO NIGHTS!

The right candidate pays attention to details, stays organized, and delights in finding great solutions to problems. This position is involved in all phases of the operation, including leasing storage and parking, managing a team, assisting with maintenance, supervising on-site projects, and maintaining good relationships with tenants.

Hours of Operation:

Mon - Sat 9:00am - 6:00pm

This is a part-time position, primarily to be scheduled Fridays and Saturdays, with occasional additional shifts available to cover for staff absences. Includes one week of full-time paid training to start.

Starting at $19.00/hour + Bonus

What You'll Do:

• Prepare rental agreements
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities
• Cleaning of vacated units and general cleaning of the property
• Promotes and sells self-storage solutions to potential customers
• Light maintenance
• Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License, and current auto insurance
• The position requires a background check
• Other duties as assigned by the Company
