Job summary

SmartStop Self Storage is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (Store #1085 - Cottonwood, AZ) for a part-time role with no nights. The job involves leasing storage, supervising a team, handling transactions, and coordinating on-site projects. Hours: Mon–Fri 9:30am–6:00pm; Sat 9:00am–4:00pm; Sun 10:00am–2:00pm.

Starting pay is $16–$17/hour plus bonus. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused, capable of promoting storage solutions, and maintaining strong tenant

• Enjoys providing exceptional customer service while effectively selling all aspects of the rental experience.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental agreements.
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities.
• Cleaning of vacated units and general cleaning of the property.
• Promotes and sells self-storage solutions to potential customers.
• Light maintenance.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services.
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License, and current auto insurance.
• The position requires a background check.
• Other duties as assigned by the Company

The right candidate pays attention to details, stays organized, and delights in finding great solutions to problems.
