Job summary

SmartStop Self Storage is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (Store #1214- Fort Smith, AR). The role involves leasing storage, managing a team, assisting with maintenance, and building strong tenant relationships.

The schedule is Tue-Fri 9:00am–6:00pm and Sat 9:00am–3:00pm, with a pay range of $13.50–$15.50/hour plus bonus. You will prepare rental agreements, handle transactions, perform light maintenance, promote storage solutions, and ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or guest/customer service.
• Ability to sell products and services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental agreements.
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities.
• Cleaning of vacated units and general cleaning of the property.
• Promotes and sells self-storage solutions to potential customers.
• Light maintenance tasks.
• Maintain knowledge of all products and services.
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License, and current auto insurance.
• Position requires a background check.
• Other duties as assigned by the Company.
