SmartStop Self Storage, Inc. is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for Store 1717 in Billings, MT. The role involves leasing storage, processing transactions, supervising a small team, and coordinating on-site maintenance to keep the property inviting.

You’ll build strong tenant relationships, promote storage solutions, and ensure excellent customer service. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with bonus potential, and a schedule that provides no nights.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and ability to promote storage solutions.
• Experience with leasing or rental agreements is preferred.
• Background check required and reliable transportation needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental agreements and process monetary transactions.
• Assist with maintenance and supervise on-site tasks.
• Lease storage units and parking spaces, ensuring occupancy goals.
• Maintain tenant relationships and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Promote self-storage offerings and upsell services.
• Ensure property cleanliness and safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned by the Company.

Assistant Store Manager (Store 1717 - Billings,MT) Job Summary - NO NIGHTS!

The right candidate pays attention to details, stays organized, and delights in finding great solutions to problems. This position is involved in all phases of the operation, including leasing storage and parking, managing a team, assisting with maintenance, supervising on-site projects, and maintaining good relationships with tenants.

Hours of Operation:

Mon - Fri 9:30am to 6:00pm; Sat 9:00am - 4:00pm; Sun 10:00am - 2:00pm

Starting at $20.00/hour + Bonus

What You'll Do:

• Prepare rental agreements
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities
• Cleaning of vacated units and general cleaning of the property
• Promotes and sells self-storage solutions to potential customers
• Light maintenance
• Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver's License, and current auto insurance
• The position requires a background check
• Other duties as assigned by the Company
