Job summary

SmartStop® Self Storage is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for Store #1436 in Santa Clara, CA. The role involves leasing storage, supervising a team, and maintaining excellent tenant relations in a fast-growing organization.

The position offers Mon-Fri 9:30am-6:00pm and Sat 9:00am-4:00pm with no evening hours, starting at $23-25/hour plus bonus. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, 401(k) matching, life and disability insurance, and employee assistance programs.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental agreements and process transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform light maintenance on-site.
• Promote and sell storage solutions to customers.
• Supervise on-site operations and assist with leasing.
• Ensure good tenant relations and smooth store operations.
• Handle banking activities and financial transactions.
• Support other duties as assigned by the Company.

Assistant Store Manager (Store #1436 - Santa Clara, CA) Job Summary - NO NIGHTS!

The right candidate pays attention to details, stays organized, and delights in finding great solutions to problems. This position is involved in all phases of the operation, including leasing storage and parking, managing a team, assisting with maintenance, supervising on-site projects, and maintaining good relationships with tenants.

Hours of Operation: Mon - Fri 9:30am to 6:00pm; Sat 9:00am - 4:00pm; Sun 10:00am - 2:00pm

Starting at $23-25/hour + Bonus

What You'll Do:

• Prepare rental agreements
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities
• Cleaning of vacated units and general cleaning of the property
• Promotes and sells self-storage solutions to potential customers
• Light maintenance
• Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver's License, and current auto insurance
• The position requires a background check
• Other duties as assigned by the Company
