Job summary

SmartStop Self Storage in Las Cruces, NM, Store #1243, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager. The role involves leasing storage, supervising a team, and maintaining tenant relations, with hours Mon–Fri 9:00am–5:30pm, Sat 9:00am–2:00pm, Sun closed.

Starting pay is $15.50/hour plus bonus. You will prepare rental agreements, handle transactions, and promote storage solutions while ensuring clean, well-maintained facilities.

Qualifications

• Provide exceptional customer service while selling storage solutions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adapt to change and maintain a positive attitude.
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental agreements and leases.
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities.
• Clean vacated units and perform general property cleaning.
• Promote and sell self-storage solutions to customers.
• Perform light maintenance and upkeep of the property.
• Maintain knowledge of all products and services offered.

Assistant Store Manager (Store #1243 Las Cruces, NM ) Job Summary - NO NIGHTS!

The right candidate pays attention to details, stays organized, and delights in finding great solutions to problems. This position is involved in all phases of the operation, including leasing storage and parking, managing a team, assisting with maintenance, supervising on-site projects, and maintaining good relationships with tenants.

Hours of Operation: Mon - Fri 9:00am to 5:30pm; Sat 9:00am - 2:00pm; Sun Closed

Starting at $15.50/hour + Bonus

What You'll Do:

• Prepare rental agreements
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities
• Cleaning of vacated units and general cleaning of the property
• Promotes and sells self-storage solutions to potential customers
• Light maintenance
• Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License, and current auto insurance
• The position requires a background check
• Other duties as assigned by the Company
