Job summary

SmartStop Self Storage, Billings, MT is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for Store #1702 to oversee leasing, manage a team, and coordinate on-site operations. You will handle rentals, payments, and maintenance while delivering top-notch service to tenants.

Hours are Mon-Fri 9:30am–6:00pm, Sat 9:00am–4:00pm, Sun 10:00am–2:00pm. Starting at $20.00/hour with a bonus after 90 days and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or service industry preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Rent storage units and prepare rental agreements.
• Handle monetary transactions and banking duties.
• Oversee on-site maintenance and renovations as needed.
• Supervise a team and coordinate leasing activities.
• Maintain tenant relationships and provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure property appearance and curb appeal.

Assistant Store Manager (Store #1702 - Billings, MT) Job Summary - NO NIGHTS!

The right candidate pays attention to details, stays organized, and delights in finding great solutions to problems. This position is involved in all phases of the operation, including leasing storage and parking, managing a team, assisting with maintenance, supervising on-site projects, and maintaining good relationships with tenants.

Hours of Operation: Mon - Fri 9:30am to 6:00pm; Sat 9:00am - 4:00pm; Sun 10:00am - 2:00pm

Starting at $20.00/hour + Bonus

What You'll Do:

• Rent storage units
• Prepare rental agreements
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities
• Cleaning of vacated units and general cleaning of the property
• Promotes and sells self-storage solutions to potential customers
• Light maintenance
• Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services
• Maintain general curb appeal
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License, and current auto insurance
• The position requires a background check
• Other duties as assigned by the Company
