Job summary

Best-One Tire & Service is looking for an Assistant Store Manager in the Southside area who will lead our team in delivering tire and automotive services with a focus on customer satisfaction.

You will train and mentor staff, supervise daily operations, ensure safety/compliance, and provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers. A 1-year tire/auto service background is preferred; strong leadership and communication are required.

Qualifications

• Sales and/or management experience with a proven track record.
• Working knowledge of basic computer functions.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
• Minimum 1 year experience in tire and automotive or commercial vehicle service.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform all job functions requiring lifting up to 50 lbs and related physical activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with professional and educated recommendations on tire purchases, repair or application needs.
• Perform tire repair or replacement duties to provide customers with professional service during high workload.
• Assist in the shop or at off-site locations with service work when needed to complete tasks safely.
• Recruit, evaluate, train and lead a team committed to excellent work and customer service.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain OSHA and other safety/compliance guidelines.
• Maintain communication between store and support departments.
• Ensure inventory and operational standards are met, including parts ordering.
• Maintain strong customer service skills and knowledge of product lines.
